Everything comes to an end

I designed the maps several years ago. Since then, the maps have developed, based on my personal experience in offroad riding. The maps have been downloaded many thousands of times. They are obviously well used by the off-road community.

For personal reasons, I retired from motorcycling on unknown and unpaved roads in 2024. This means that I will gradually withdraw from the map project.

My commitment: 
I will continue to maintain the maps in 2025. In 2026, as today, I will continue to publish the maps quarterly on https://gravelmaps.de.
In 2027 however, I will either keep the maps untouched or may shut down the domain.
